This is my contest entry for ~sisterjatt s new contest *join it!*

I decided to draw Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket as a horse.

I dont know if I despise it..or think its okay. I feel I could have done better, but..I just cant find that "betterness" right now.

By the way her ribbons are yellow as shes wearing the ones Yuki gave her :). AND shes so thin because, come on Tohru's really thin, so it looks odd, but yea.

Omg BlackOut!!

This is.. Shocking!! It’s so good!! WOW, you’ve improved so much!! Your interpretation kicks absolute ass!! She is Tohru!

First of all; the mane and tail, it’s Tohrus hair in everyway – the two strands either side and the way it cuts off with a straight edge. It fits in beautifully with her bodies colour too and the shadings real nice as well :D I think it was a really nice choice to include Yuki’s gift as well, I think the yellow looks nicer ^^
Secondly.. The actually choice of colours, The blue markings that changes into the brown hooves that represent her shoes very nicely :aww: I like that you only included the top piece of her uniform so that it doesn’t look corny in anyway, and that said, you chose the summer uniform so that the colour white could play a part –vera Nice.
Thirdly, the expression is so utterly right words fail me :XD: I ADORE this piece of yours, how did you get so good, your horse heads ROCK :iconyeahplz:

Awww yay!! I was expecting nothing but bad comments about this. Im just so dissapointed with the proportions etc.
